What a Used Project account lets you do, how to create one, and your privacy options.

Do I need an account?

No — you can browse the entire Used Project directory, view all store pages, use the map and filters, and read all help articles without creating an account.

An account is only required if you want to do more: list a garage sale, post a market stall listing, claim a store, upload photos, or contact us through the site.

What you can do with an account

With a free Used Project account you can:

• List upcoming garage sales and house clearances
• Post market stall listings for events you're attending
• Upload photos of stores you've visited
• Claim and manage your own store listing (if you're a business owner)
• Contact us directly through the site

Creating your account

Creating an account is free and takes less than a minute. Visit the Sign In page and follow the prompts. We support sign-in via Google or email — no separate password required for Google accounts.

You'll be asked to choose a display name for your profile. This is visible on listings and photos you post, so use something you're comfortable with.

Your privacy

We collect only the information needed to run your account and provide our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your Used Project account at any time. Contact us via the Contact page and select Privacy or data request. Include a note that you'd like your account and associated data deleted.

We'll process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Note that some content you've contributed (such as store listings that have been incorporated into the directory) may be retained in anonymised or aggregate form.
